Spring mini-sessions are happening this weekend! I just love the location this year and I’ll also have some vintage suitcase props for the wee ones. You still have your chance to book a mini-session this Sun April 14th so email me asap to find out the time slots that are still available.

2012. come and gone… many laughs, some tears, new clients, new friends, new babies, catching up with past clients, my son’s first year, our wedding, 3 dearly departed. I learned a lot from 2012. I focused more on portraits this past year and found that I absolutely love the relationships that I get to cultivate and nurture. Getting to share in the moments… freezing them in time. Watching families grow.

This week has been super exciting because I have officially launched my photography classes for parents, Snap Happy Moms

I’m so looking forward to a new year, new beginnings and the opportunity to connect with other moms to share my passion. This has been a dream of mine for over a year and it’s awesome to finally make it a reality. We all love professional portraits of our children but cannot always afford to hire a photographer. There are so many special moments that happen with kids and wouldn’t it be great to get to document them all?

Summer is here in SoCal which means beach, bbqs and warm summer days and nights. Summertime is for making memories… Growing up I spent my summers on a lake in Wisconsin with all my cousins. It was an absolute blast and a time of my life I will never forget.

I love it when families book summer portrait sessions… you really can’t go wrong with the beach at sunset!
